With a background in police prosecution, I specialise in defending various types of criminal offences. I provide dedicated support to individuals facing charges, leveraging my experience to secure the best possible outcomes. Limited
Licences
If you have been disqualified from driving (upon conviction) or suspended as a result of excess demerit points we can help. I have an excellent track record of achieving limited licences which meet our clients’ needs and doing so quickly. A limited licence (often referred to as a ‘work licence’) is a driver’s licence that allows a disqualified or suspended person to drive most typically for the purpose of their work. As the name suggests it is more limited in its usability than a full drivers licence.
During my tenure with the Auckland Prosecution Service, I was responsible for overseeing limited licence applications. This role allowed me to accumulate extensive experience in managing and processing these applications.
With my limited licence service your fee will cover you from start to finish. This includes the time we spend on drafting and appearances in court on the day

Drink
Driving
I offer comprehensive guidance for individuals dealing with drink driving charges, technically termed "driving with excess breath/blood alcohol" or "EBA."
I have had experience with drink driving from all perspectives: processing drink drivers myself as a police officer, prosecuting drink driving offences, and defending against drink driving offences.
Understanding the stress associated with such charges, I provide a succinct overview of potential consequences upon conviction. Penalties, tailored to individual circumstances, for first or second offenses may include a conviction, disqualification, fines, court costs, and community work. Third offenses incur heightened consequences. For those confronting an alcohol interlock sentence due to prior convictions or elevated alcohol readings, I provide essential information on this mandatory sentencing option, covering disqualification, the use of an alcohol interlock device, and associated costs. Given the complexity of navigating this relatively new sentencing option, I recommend contacting me for a free, no-obligation assessment to understand your unique situation and explore how my services can provide assistance.

Family Violence Offences
I understand that the situations in which offending allegedly occur will not always be as black and white as the police might make them out to be. With this understanding, we have been able to achieve successful outcomes for clients who have faced charges such as common assault, assault with a weapon, male assaults female, wilful damage and more.
I have dealt with family violence events from all perspectives, including investigating, prosecuting, and defending. I understand the difficulty a prosecutor faces in proving a family violence offence in court, and I can use this knowledge to your advantage.
Violence offences against another have a hierarchy of seriousness starting with common assault, through to such others as male assaults female, assault with intent to injure, wounding with intent and beyond.
In some cases, I recommend pleading to a reduced charge. In others, I suggest defending the charges, and in certain situations, applying for a discharge without conviction.
